Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Qatari Counterpart Hold Talks in Cairo

Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Osama Askar received on Saturday, Qatari counterpart Lieutenant General Salem bin Hamad al-Aqeel al-Nabit, and his accompanying delegation.

 An official reception ceremony was held for Qatari official at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Defense, and the national anthems of both countries were played.

During the meeting, both officials discussed a number of issues of common interest in light of the military cooperation between the armed forces of both countries in many fields.

In this regard, Askar stressed the increase in the horizons of military cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two sides, referring to the consensus of visions on joint plans for the benefit of the armed forces of the two brotherly countries.

On his part, the Qatari Chief of Staff stressed the importance of increasing cooperation in the military and training fields during the next stage to achieve the interests of the armed forces of both countries.
