Arabic Music Festival and Conference's 29th edition opening ceremony will kick off tomorrow at the Cairo Opera House between 1 to 10 November.
The opening ceremony will be attended by Culture Minister Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Cairo Opera House Head Magdi Saber, and Arabic Music Festival and Conference Director Gihan Morsi.
The Festival's activities will take place on various venues including the Cairo Opera House different stages, Alexandria Opera House, and Damnhour Opera House.
Furthermore, the festival's program carries 29 concerts, and the participation of 93 musicians mainly from 5 Arab countries: Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Iraq, and Jordan.
The ceremony will witness the honoring of various musical icons such as Ammar El Sherei's band "Al Asdikaa," and the band's members such as Mona Abdel Ghani, Hanan, and Alaa' Abdel Khale'.
Other iconic musicians will be honored too such as the flutist Mohamed Abdel Nabi, the violinist Mohamed Qotb, and the violinist Mahmoud Othman and others.
The opening ceremony will carry a performance by Soma and Nadia Mostafa at the Fountain Theater in Cairo.
