On Sunday, Arab Parliament speaker Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoumi welcomed the Arab League's decision to hold an emergency meeting at the level of foreign ministers, scheduled for tomorrow.
The meeting comes upon a request by Egypt and Jordشan.
In this regard, Al-Asoumi hailed Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and Jordanian King Abdullah II's sincere efforts and pivotal role in promoting joint Arab action and serving the interests of the Arab peoples.
It is worth mentioning that, the meeting will tackle the latest developments in the region which requires a comprehensive Arab stance to maintain Arab national security, serves joint Arab interests, and bolster Arab solidarity.
They will also reiterate principles related to the Palestinian cause.
