The Speaker of the Arab Parliament Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi affirmed the Arab Parliament's absolute rejection and strong condemnation of any initiatives or attempts to displace the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip, which aim to liquidate the Palestinian cause, considering these initiatives a blatant violation of international legitimacy resolutions and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

The Speaker of the Parliament said - in a statement - that forced displacement is a crime under international humanitarian law, calling on the international community to reject such initiatives clearly and explicitly, and to take positions that enhance a just and comprehensive peace for the Palestinian cause, which is represented in ending all forms of occupation and ending all forms of genocide in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and working to establish peace and security in the region.

Al Yamahi stressed the Arab Parliament's full support for the Palestinian people in their adherence to their land and their support for achieving all their inalienable rights, foremost among which is their right to return, self-determination and the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, calling on international and regional parliaments to urge their countries to protect these rights and support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the face of plans and initiatives aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause.
