The Arab League will hold an emergency meeting on the level of Arab foreign ministers (FMs) next February 8.
Arab League Assistant Secretary-General Hossam Zaki said that the meeting comes upon a request by Egypt and Jordan.
The meeting will tackle the latest developments in the region which requires a comprehensive Arab stance to maintain Arab national security, serves joint Arab interests, and bolster Arab solidarity.
They will also reiterate principles related to the Palestinian cause.
