Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, Hossam Zaki, reaffirmed that Palestine remains at the heart of the Arab League’s political and diplomatic struggle, as the organization marks its 80th anniversary.
In a post on his official social media account, Zaki said the League continues to fight for Arab unity and stability in a region that remains at the center of global attention.
He noted that over the past eight decades, the League has faced major setbacks and internal and external shocks, but it has endured. Those who doubted its survival, he said, were proven wrong.
Zaki stated that the Arab League still brings Arab nations together under one umbrella, as much as current realities allow, in a world marked by instability, injustice, and the abuse of power.
He ended his message with a tribute to all Arab nationals who served the League since its founding, especially those who have passed away.
