The Arab League issued a sharp condemnation Sunday against what it termed "Iranian aggression" targeting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of several member states.

In a formal statement released March 1, 2026, the Cairo-based organization described the actions as a flagrant violation of international law and the principles of good neighborliness. The League warned that such escalations pose a "grave threat" to regional stability.

The General Secretariat emphasized that Arab security is "indivisible," rejecting any infringement on the sovereignty of member nations. It called for an immediate halt to escalatory acts and urged Tehran to exercise restraint to avoid widening the conflict.

Additionally, the League expressed appreciation for diplomatic mediation efforts led by the Sultanate of Oman, Egypt, and Qatar, aimed at de-escalating tensions and sparing the region from further consequences.
