Arab League Secretary-General, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, participated in the two-day Munich Security Conference alongside a dense gathering of senior international officials.
On the sidelines of the event, Aboul Gheit met with Sudanese Prime Minister Kamel Idriss, where he stressed that ending the war represents a top priority for protecting Sudan’s unity and territorial integrity.
He further affirmed that any international or regional involvement must be directed toward supporting a ceasefire path and fostering a political environment that puts an end to the prolonged suffering of the Sudanese people.
