Apple has notified its customers in Egypt, via an e-mail, of an increase in the prices of iCloud storage services, as of August 12.
iCloud storage services are known as storage spaces that Apple gives to its users for a fee, in the event that the memory attached to the phone is full.
The rate of increase in the price of the storage service approved by Apple and notified to customers to about 57.9%, according to the e-mail.
Apple had announced earlier that the prices of applications and purchases within the App Store “App Store” - with the exception of automatic renewal subscriptions - will be updated for its users in a number of countries, including Egypt, Nigeria, Tanzania and Turkey.
Apple indicated in a statement on its website to developers that it will deduct a 14% tax on value added Tax (VAT) in Egypt, introduce an 18% VAT and a 2% digital service tax in Tanzania, as well as raise the rate from 18% to 20% in Turkey.
