General Abdel Moneim El-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), and Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Group, witnessed, through video conference technology, the signing of a joint manufacturing contract for tablets and laptops devices in accordance with international quality standards in Egypt.
In this regard, El-Terras stressed that the AOI is seeking to implement the directives of President "Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi" to enhance local industrialization and reduce imports of the educational system, training, smart laboratories and modern electronic devices.
El-Terras welcomed the cooperation with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Company due to its manufacturing capabilities and expertise in the field of producing tablets, laptops and electronic industries.
He made clear that it was agreed on the implementation steps for the partnership, the localization of technology for the manufacture of educational devices, tablets and laptops, and the establishment of smart training laboratories.
He pointed out that the AOI aims, with this cooperation, to meet the needs of educational and training institutions in Egypt, with the future expansion of export markets to the African and Arab market with high-quality products at competitive prices in accordance with international quality standards.
He added that Arab Industrialization contributes to the components of manufacturing in a large percentage so that the percentage of the local component will increase in the coming years, stressing that it is an important step to advance local manufacturing and localize the technology of manufacturing tablets and laptops in Egypt and the Arab and African region.
The chairman of AOI expressed his great confidence in the Egyptian youth who are able to absorb the latest technological successive technologies, stressing that the AOI uses all its manufacturing capabilities to reinforce the states plan to develop education in accordance with the latest modern technological technologies.
On his part, Dr. Ghazaleh praised the AOI and its advanced capabilities that qualify it to localize the technology of modern electronic industries that can be developed and innovated.

Furthermore, Samar Al-Labbad, Vice President of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Group, confirmed the group's willingness to transfer various types of modern technology in joint cooperation and partnership with AOI.
Al-Labbad praised the AIO's role in enhancing the proportions of the local component in the Egyptian industry and its keenness to localize technology in general and to efficiently accomplish all areas of cooperation at the required times in accordance with international quality levels.
