Antiquities Reduces Services' Rents at Tourist Spots by 50%

The Supreme Council of Antiquities agreed to reduce the rents of bazaars, cafeterias, and toilets at all tourist spots, and museums that supervised by the council, and the Fund of Nuba's Antiquities by 50% for November, and December.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the ministry previously confirmed the council's decision of decreasing the rent by 50% for all services in tourist spots for the period ranged between March 2020, before the council totally dropped those rents for the period ranged between June 2020, and October 2021.

In the same context, the meeting of the council saw recording seven archaeological artefacts at the Church of St. Menas at Al Sayeda Zainab.

The recorded pieces include several icons for the great martyr St. Menas, Virgin Mary, and several saints.
