Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy received US Ambassador Herro Mustafa Garg to discuss mutual cooperation between both countries in the field of tourism and archaeology, in addition to examining the means to attract more American tourists to Egypt.
During the meeting, the minister welcomed the welcomed the ambassador, praising the bilateral ties between the ministry and the US Embassy in Cairo, and the effective partnerships between both parties.
On her side, the ambassador asserted the importance of fruitful cooperation between both sides, expressing her hopes to continue the mutual ties in all fields.
During the meeting, the minister reviewed the strategy of the ministry in the upcoming period, and the developing projects for several historical sites, and the tourist investments in Egypt.
