Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el Anani on Friday announced that three new tombs at Dendera Temple in Luxor will be opened to the public.

"The temple's roof will also be re-opened after a 15-year closure," Anani said on the sidelines of inaugurating the Dendera Music Festival in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Qena.

He went on to say that the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has developed a plan to organize several events in different governorates, noting that the Red Sea governorate will witness Saturday the opening of the first antiquities museum.

"The Dendera Music Festival is aimed at revitalizing the tourism sector and putting Qena on the tourism map," Anani added.
