Antiquities Denies Development of Roads in Pyramids Area

Mr. Ashraf Mohy ElDin the General Director of the Pyramids’ antiquities denied the rumors about developing two new roads in the Pyramids’ hill antiquities area.

Mohy ElDin confirmed that there is no digging in the area and that the Pyramids’ hill developing project was completely finished in 2019 and will be opened in 2021.

The General Director pointed that according to the developing project, electronic and environmental cars will transfer the visitors because there will not be any buses or cars allowed in the area to protect the environment and the antiquities.

He also confirmed that any rumors about developing new roads in the Pyramids’ hill antiquities area are definitely not true and that anything outside the antiquities area is just introductory work. About the other road found in the shared pictures, it is in the land surrounding the antiquities are and has been developed under the supervision of the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
