American singer Elise Lebec, known as Amun Starr, is preparing to make a musical tour in Egypt on the North Coast at the beginning of the summer season.
Amon Star is collaborating for the first time with Yasser Hariri to present seven different songs in a remix style. The tour comes in line with the singer's campaign to promote tourism in Egypt through its music videos, which were filmed in the most famous tourist and historical places, such as the pyramids and the Temple of Amun next to the Champollion Palace, the Black Pyramid and the Baron Palace.
The American performer released the music video of her song “Good Bye” which was the first to be filmed in the pyramid of King Amenemhat III in the archaeological area of Dahshur, known globally as the “Black Pyramid”.
Amon Star has affirmed that she felt proud and grateful to be in that historical place and to show its archaeological features to people for the first time during her music video.
Elise settled in Egypt 5 years ago. Inspired by Egyptian mythology, she changed her name to “Amun Starr”, god of the sun, wind and fertility.
The singer won many international music awards, including the “Hollywood Music In Media Awards” for her song “We Are All Inflected”, and the “Global Music Awards” for her 2017 album “Origin”.
