The American Justice Department sued the author of the book “Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady” Stephanie Winston Wolkoff for breaking her non-disclosure agreement. Wolkoff released her book last month.
The book uncovers some private information from Wolkoff’s time working as the Melania Trump's assistant from 2017 to 2018. It also paints Melania as a strict person and the arch-enemy of Donald Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka Trump.
Wolkoff faces a huge lawsuit for not only for breaking her non-disclosure agreement but also for breaking her signed contract that stated that she is “specifically prohibited from publishing, reproducing or otherwise pulging any such information to any unauthorized person or entity in whole or in part.”
The lawsuit is demanding that all the profits from the “Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady” book go in a government trust since the broken agreement and contract are with the United States of America.
