Ali Zahran, player of the Egyptian gymnastics team, won fifth place in the throat final of the Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics World Cup "Cairo 2023".
The tournament was held at Cairo International Stadium from April 27 to 30, and is one of the qualifying tournaments for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Ali Zahran won fifth place with a total of 14.533 points, equal with Cypriot Socrates Belakouris in fourth place with the same number of points.
The gold medal was won by Nikita Semenov of Azerbaijan with a total score of 14.966, the silver medal was won by Salvatore Mareska of Italy with a total score of 14.700 points, and the bronze medal was won by Armenian Artur Avetsisan with a total score of 14.666 points.
