Ali El Haggar Dazzles Audience at 30th Arab Music Festival and Conference

Iconic Egyptian singer Ali El Haggar performed Wednesday evening at the 30th Arab Music Festival and Conference.

The concert, conducted by Hazem Al-Qasabgy, was hosted at the Cairo Opera House’s Fountain Theater.

El Haggar dazzled the audience with a selection of songs that formed a part of the contemporary music such as “El Mal We El Banon”, “El Lil W Akhro”, “Zay El Hawa”, “Zeab El Gabal”, “Masalet Mabdaa”, “Tegeesh Naeesh”, and “Bawabat Al Halawani”.

He was preceded by Syrian singer Waad Al Bahri, who paid tribute to Egypt and its people as well as thanked the Minister of Culture Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, the President Cairo Opera Dr. Magdy Saber, and all the festival organizers.

The evening also featured a performance by Hanan Eessam, and the Opera Children's Choir, led by Maestro Ahmed Amer.
