Alaa Atef Crowned Miss Egypt 2019 [Video]

The Miss Egypt Pageant 2019 was held earlier this week in the new administrative capital with more than 2,000 attendees.

The jury included President of Miss Egypt contest Amaal Rezk, artists Hager Ahmed and Tamer Farag, as well as Host Jory Bakr, Serbian Ambassador to Egypt Jugoslav Vukadinovic, fashion designer Bahig Hussein, and Miss Asia pacific Egypt Aseel Khalid.

Singers Adham Seliman and Zizi Adel performed their latest songs amid the interaction of a big crowd and Host Nancy Magdy presented the 26 eligible contestants for the title.

Followed by a fashion show, the contestants performed multiple group dances with traditional customs that dazzled the audience.

The jury asked the contestants several question to evaluate them before selecting the top 10.

The judges' panel selected Sanaa Hossam as Miss Elegant, Nancy Magdy as Miss Personality, Mariam El-Okda as Miss Congeniality.

Nouran Tarek received two titles "Miss Face of beauty and Miss Multimedia", Manar Ahmed was selected as Miss Fitness, Fatma Waleed as Miss Photogenic.

Salma Samir won Miss Beautiful Smile, Engy Waleed Miss Beautiful Spirit, and Shams Ossama Miss Beautiful Face.

All the top 5 contestants received titles of which Basma Dawood was selected as Miss Eco Egypt, Nour Yasser was the first girl to be awarded the title of Miss Eco Teen, and Alaa Atef won the title of Miss Egypt 2019.

The international competition Miss Eco Teen is scheduled to be held for the first time in Egypt this November.
