Jordan’s leading newspaper Al-Dustour received the Arab Media Excellence Award from the Arab League, recognizing its editorial work in opinion journalism, particularly the column by journalist Nour Al-Dweiri titled “The Effects of Hate Speech in the Digital Age on Youth Thought.”
Editor-in-Chief Mustafa Al-Riyalat accepted the award from Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit during a ceremony at the League’s headquarters in Cairo, held alongside the 55th session of the Arab Information Ministers Council.
In exclusive remarks, Al-Riyalat said, “This honor is a tremendous recognition for Al-Dustour and reflects the dedication of our team to the highest standards of professionalism and creativity. This award motivates us to continue producing independent, objective journalism that addresses people’s concerns and contributes to building a better future.”
He added, “Through this achievement, Al-Dustour reaffirms its role as the premier platform for media excellence in Jordan and the Arab world, remaining a trusted voice for responsible reporting.”
The ceremony was attended by senior Arab media officials and representatives of Arab media delegations.
