Al Ahly player Ahmed Yasser Rayan announced that he has underwent a medical swab and it turned out to be negative after being infected with COVID-19.
Rayan was infected with the virus after his participation with Egypt's U-23 Olympic team, where he took part in two friendly matches against South Korea and Brazil, in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics.
Al Ahly star wrote on his official Twitter page: "Thank God ... COVID-19 negative."
It is worth noting that Rayan returned to the Red Castle during the current season, after a loan period he spent with El Gouna club.
