Al Ahly board of directors denied the alleged rumors that current manager Rene Weiller and assured that the press release currently circulating throughout social media is not an official statement by the club.
Previously a press released circulating through out news outlets announced that the Ahly board of directors, under the leadership of Mahmoud El Khatib, stated that Weiler will be not resuming his role as the team's manager and Mohamed Youssef will temporarily be assigned for the role.
The press also read that the board also announced that a huge ceremony will be held at the Mokhtar El Tetsh Stadium in honor of his contributions for the club which include the Egyptian Super Cup for the years 2019/2020 and this year's Premier League.
