Egyptian actor Ramez Gala's film “Akhi Fok El Shagara” will make its streaming debut on "Netflix" on Saturday, May 18.
The cast also stars Tara Emad, Hamdi Al Marghani, Nesreen Tafesh, Mahmoud El Leithy, Bayoumi Fouad, and more. It also features mahraganat singer Hamo Bika making a cameo appearance.
“Akhi Fok El Shagara” debuted during the mid-year vacation in 2022 and hails from director Mahmoud Karim and scriptwriter Loay El Sayed.
It follows Alaa, an introverted young man whose life turns upside down when his twin brother, Bahaa, whom he never knew existed and the complete opposite on all levels, barges into his life.
Galal, born on 20 April 1973, is the son of the theater director Galal Tawfik and the younger brother of the star Yasser Galal.
He graduated from the institute for dramatic arts and served his military service afterward, then resumed his acting career.
The actor is also best known for his prank shows which are aired every year during Ramadan. He has pranked famous Egyptian people and international stars such as Paris Hilton, Steven Seagal, and Shah Rukh Khan.
Galal has hosted a prank show every Ramadan over the past seven years, which is popular with half the population of the Arab world.
