Moroccan reports stated Wednesday that Ahmad Ahmad, president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), who has been suspended days ago by the FIFA, has resorted to the Court of Arbitration for Sport to defend himself after the decision.

Moroccan newspaper Al Muntakhab stated that the suspended CAF president resorted to CAS to defend himself after the ruling issued for his suspension.

Several days ago, FIFA issued a decision to ban Ahmad Ahmad from practicing any sports related job for a period of 5 years for breaching the duty of loyalty, besides fining him of 200,000 Swiss francs.
