The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade is preparing to launch Ahlan Ramadan exhibitions from March 24 until April 1 at the Cairo International Conference Center in Nasr City, with the aim of providing various food commodities at reduced prices before the holy month.
Major food producing companies will participate with significant discounts, in addition to allocating pavilions in the branches of major commercial chains and government outlets, consumer complexes and branches of the “My Society” project to offer products at discounted prices ranging from 20 to 30%, especially food commodities and Ramadan products “Yamish”, as well as meat, poultry and essential commodities such as oil, rice, and sugar.
This comes as Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply asserted the availability of a stock of all food commodities, especially with the advent of the month of Ramadan at reduced prices.
On his part, Ayman Hossam El-Din, head of the Consumer Protection Agency confirmed that the exhibition will be launched under the auspices of the Prime Minister starting March 24, and citizens will be received on the next day and continue until April 1, with the aim of providing all Ramadan goods and products in all governorates, where all products and food commodities will be provided at prices lower than their counterparts in other markets by at least 20% and up to 30%.
