Afghanistan’s biggest pop star Aryana Sayeed fled from the country on a US flight out of Kabul, on Wednesday, as the Taliban took control over the capital city of Kabul.

Sayeed assured her fans on Instagram that she had arrived in Doha and now she is heading to Turkey, her final destination.

On Thursday, the star's husband/ manager, Hasib Sayed, posted a video of her sleeping in the plane while heading to Turkey.

“She fell asleep the moment she rested her head right after we got on the plane scheduled to fly us out of Doha, Qatar,” he wrote.

“I was just staring at her and remembering just how bravely and how fearlessly she handled the most recent, the most difficult and most dangerous moments of her life,” he added.

Hasib also praised his wife's strength and bravery, affirming that she has been a "role model" to many people, especially him.

With the Taliban’s advance in Afghanistan, the country’s government collapsed in totality.

Meanwhile, women in general will have most of their rights quashed including leaving their houses without a man as an escort or their right to education.

In this sense, the Taliban says that religious scholars will decide whether girls can go to school and if women can work.
