AFCON 2019 Ticket Prices Revealed

The Organizing Committee of the African Cup of Nations revealed the prices of tickets for the tournament, early on in the day.The commission announced in an official statement

that the prices came after studying all aspects as it aims to attract a large number of attendees to the matches of all teams not just the Egyptian national team.

Therefore, prices were adjusted based on the matches and their venues in terms of stadium capacity, the host city and the number of matches the stadium receives on the same day, where one ticket will allow the public to attend all the matches on the same day.

The Organizing Committee has set 100 Egyptian pounds as the price of the third-class ticket in matches where the Egyptian team is not part of, and 300 Egyptian pounds for the second class and 500 Egyptian pounds for the first class.

The audience can watch two matches on the same field after purchasing the ticket. For example, the viewer can buy one ticket for the matches of Morocco vs Côte d'Ivoire, South Africa vs Namibia on June 28 at the El-Salam Stadium.

As for the prices of tickets for the matches of Egypt, the Commission has identified 200 pounds for the third class ticket and 400 pounds for the second class and 600 pounds for the first class and 500 pounds for the first degree top and 2500 pounds for the main cabin.

From his side, Hany Abu Reda, President of the Egyptian Football Federation, said that the prices of the third-class tickets for the African Cup of Nations are being reviewed.

Abu Reda said in an official statement on Tuesday that the Organizing Committee of the championship, which he heads, is reviewing the prices of tickets for the tournament matches in order to achieve one of the most important goals of organizing the tournament with the return of the masses fully to the stands.

He added that the review is aimed at the prices of third-class tickets for the matches of the national team, especially as it has a major role in supporting the Pharaohs.
