CAIRO, Nov. 2 (SEE)- During his speech before the main session of the 27th Annual Conference of Arab and American Decision-makers, Mohamed Abu El-Elnein, the Honorary President of the Euro-Mediterranean Parliament, said that the safety and security of Egypt, and the stability of the Middle East, represent a safety valve for the whole world.

He assured that Egypt is now working hard to restore its effective regional role as a peacemaker and a partner in building and helping not destructing others.
Abu El-Enein said: “Egypt is keen to strengthen its relations with the United States in all aspects. We expect from the United States to share Egypt's keenness to strengthen its relations with Egypt and to contribute by all means to the success of its leadership’s efforts to build a strong, stable and prosperous Egypt. This is in the interest of the United States and in the interest of regional stability and development.”
Abu El-Enein elaborated that Egypt's attitude towards the crises in Syria, Libya and Yemen is to preserve the state and its territorial integrity. And support the efforts of the United Nations to reach a comprehensive political solution that achieves the legitimate aspirations of the Arab peoples.
He added that Egypt plays a remarkable role in supporting the rebuilding of the Libyan state and consolidating the military establishment to carry out its tasks of controlling security and preventing the flow of fighters and weapons across its territory to neighboring countries and regions.
As for Yemen, Egypt adheres to the political solution and ending all attempts by a certain party to Force bullying non-Arab parties to impose its will on the rest of its people.
The Honorary President of the Euro-Mediterranean Parliament pointed out that the Palestinian issue is the central issue in the Middle East, which is the issue of all Arabs, not just Palestinians.
Abu El-Enein voiced the disappointment of Arab peoples of American and Israeli policies that seek to impose the status quo and remove the Palestinian issue from its content Negotiations, one after the other, stressing that the policy of imposing a fait accompli can not be the basis for peace or a solution to the Palestinian issue.
Abu El-Enein noted that Egypt has won over terrorism with the help of its armed forces, pointing out that Egypt's experience in development, combating terrorism and preserving the state is an exemplary experience for many countries in the region.
He stressed that Islam is innocent of terrorists and their perverted interpretations, and innocent of those who try to link it with terrorism.
"Egypt has presented a unique model for sustainable development and economic progress in record times, despite the suffering of terrorism and internal and external events in recent years," said Abu El-Enein.
He added that the economic indicators of Egypt are constantly improving, confirming that we are on the right path to achieving comprehensive development. He pointed out that the new developments are flowing every day and that Egypt has achieved self sufficiency of gas and stopped importing liquefied natural gas.
Regarding the energy sector he noted that Egypt is a regional ‘Energy Hub’ for example, in the petrochemical industry, the country is endemic to create a high added value of domestic gas and oil, or from neighboring countries to be manufactured in Egypt and re-exported abroad to the extent of what has been purchased.
Abul-Enein stressed that Egypt's foreign policy is independent. During the past four years, Egypt has opened up all major powers to serve its national interests. He pointed out that Egypt has strong relations of friendship with the United States, Russia, China and Europe besides its leading role in the Middle East and Africa. Africa next year.
He expressed his hopes that the United States would contribute more to President Sisi's efforts to build a new Egypt.
The conference is organized by the National Council on Arab-American Relations in Washington on the future of Egyptian-US relations. It was attended by a large number of prominent Arab and American figures, members of Congress, Arab countries and Abu El-Enein was the main spokesman.
