The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit said that the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Egyptian-Emirati relations is an occasion to talk about Arab-Arab relations.

Aboul Gheit confirmed the great potential of the relations between Egypt and the UAE as a distinct model for the relations between the two countries, which distinguishes it from integration in all fields, and is a model for what Arab-Arab relations should be.

He added that the Arab League is the first winner of this model of those relations, as the League is a large umbrella that includes all forms of cooperation between member states.

Aboul Gheit's speech came during the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Egyptian-Emirati relations, which began today, Wednesday, and extends for three days, in the presence of the symbols of the two countries.
