Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, congratulated Ambassador Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Social Affairs Sector of the League of Arab States.
This is on the occasion of her receiving this year’s United Nations Population Award in recognition of her distinguished contributions to enhancing dealing with population, women and social development issues in Jordan, her country of origin.
And in the League of Arab States, as well as its contributions to enhancing cooperation between them and the United Nations in these areas.
The Secretary-General also expressed his sincere appreciation for all the appreciated efforts made by Ambassador Haifa Abu Ghazaleh since assuming her position as Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, wishing her continued success on the professional and personal levels.
