ROME, Nov. 11 (SEE)- Mohamed Abou El-Enein said on Friday that he is delighted to win Mediterranean Nobel prize following writer Naguib Mahfouz.
This came on the sidelines of the award ceremony in the Italian city of Napoli.
Abou El-Enein won the Mediterranean Nobel Prize in Economics and Diplomacy for his efforts in strengthening relations among Mediterranean nations.

It is the second time for an Egyptian idol to win the award following Mahfouz who received it in 2003.
Abou El-Enein is an Egyptian businessman, and politician who is the chairman and founder of Cleopatra Group and several Councils worldwide.
On the international level, He was elected President of the Egyptian-European Council in 2007 and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) in 2010, as well as the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean.
