Parliament deputy speaker MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein called on members of the Inter-Parliamentary Union to take decisive measures to stop the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
In his speech during a session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union , on the sidelines of the COP28 climate conference in Dubai, Abou El-Enein called for the localization of technological industries in developing and poor countries so that they can keep pace with developments in international climate policy and reduce emissions and carbon footprint.
He also called for the establishment of a parliamentary committee to follow up on the decisions issued at climate conferences.
