Badr Abdel Aati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov stressed the importance of continuing the pace of joint coordination between the two countries, especially in light of the directives of the leaderships of the two countries in this regard, and the participation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in the activities of the BRICS Summit that was recently held in the city of Kazan.
This came during the meeting held by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Friday, with his Russian counterpart during the activities of the Sir Bani Yas Forum in the UAE.
The two ministers also discussed the developments of a number of important bilateral economic projects that are being implemented jointly, in addition to exchanging views on the developments related to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, where they agreed on the need to reach an immediate ceasefire and unconditional access to humanitarian aid.
The two ministers also discussed a number of issues raised in the regional and international arenas.
