kosovar Mejreme Hajdaraj was crowned Miss Elite, in an unforgettable beauty pageant in Egypt last year.
Sada el Balad English (See), in collaboration with Fashion Journalist Ahmed Adel, conducted an exclusive interview with the beauty queen to get to know more about her dreams, successes, and beauty secrets, which got her chosen from among 40 other contestants.
Tell me about you goals in your life?
My journey wasn't easy ... I dreamed about representing myself and my country, I visualized myself in big stages filled with beauty pageants. I saw myself working hard and sometimes wanted to give up.
Life is easy only if you live in your comfort zone and I wanted to live outside of it, to show my insecurities, my fears and my imperfections without being scared to be judged.
I wanted to let people see my inner beauty and also be appreciated for my personality. Here I am holding the crown I always wanted and appreciating myself for not giving up.
My goal is to become a role model for every young beauty queen, and assure her not to give up, and to work hard until her dreams come true.
A winner is a dreamer who never gives up
With work, dedication and discipline you can overcome any limit because the limit only exists in your mind. When you want to give up that's exact moment that you are one step away from success, and a winner is a dreamer who never gives up.
When did you start your career as a TV presenter?
I started my career as a TV presenter after winning Miss Elite, they called me as a guest to talk more about Miss Elite and all the experiences I had. during the competition. Then they offered me a summer show and I was happy to do something new and hosting was also one of my dreams, so i accepted the offer.
I am also working on a project as a fashion ambassador to my country Kosovo.
What is the most beautiful gift you got?
I think material gifts comes and goes the real gifts that I received was hugs, smiley faces and amazing wishes.
The last question, Tell me about you make up and your hairstyle ?
I have my personal makeup and hair artist, Dion Makolli, and every time we want to do a different style, when we have a designer shoot, we use some natural colors that match with all colors so that it suits every dress.

What's your message to your family and friends?
In fact i don't have any message to them I am just thankful for them to be part of my life and I also would like to say to them that life better with their presence.
Tell me about your field of study now?
After I have completed secondary school, one of my mother's dreams was to finish high school and since it was impossible to do so, I decided to join her.
Currently, I am studying journalism, yet, due to commitments, work, and events, I have paused for a while.
God has given me another year to live a healthy life
Which year were you born?
I was born on September 16, 2000. I am 23 years old.
You will be celebrating your birthday this September. What does it mean to you?
Every candle blow is a blessing for another year of happiness, joy and success and I feel blessed every year that I am celebrating with my family and friends my birthday.
What’s your wishes in your birthday ?
God has given me another year to live a healthy life and another opportunity to live the life of my dreams and I think that is the best gift I can receive.
