The Al-Qassam Brigades announced today that they killed and injured nine Israeli soldiers during an operation targeting a fortified unit inside a house in northern Gaza.
According to a statement shared by the Palestinian Information Center on X (formerly Twitter), "Our fighters managed to target a force of nine soldiers fortified inside a house with a TBG shell, leaving them dead or injured, west of Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip."
The Brigades also reported the destruction of an Israeli armored personnel carrier with an improvised explosive device west of Beit Lahia. They claimed responsibility for the sniper targeting of an officer in Abu Al-Eish Street within Jabalia camp.
Meanwhile, the Gaza Ministry of Health revealed that the death toll from Israel's ongoing military campaign in the Gaza Strip, now surpassing a year, has climbed to over 45,259 fatalities.
In a statement issued Sunday, the Ministry reported that 32 civilians were killed, and 54 others were injured in the last 24 hours.
This brings the total number of injured individuals since the conflict began on October 7, 2023, to 107,627.
The ministry highlighted that many victims remain trapped under rubble or stranded in inaccessible areas due to the dangerous conditions preventing emergency and civil defense teams from reaching them.
