7 Side Effects for Receiving Coronavirus Vaccine

Egypt's Ministry of Health revealed the side effects that those who receive the Chinese Coronavirus vaccine may experience, which are:

1- Pain, redness, stiffness, and itching at the site of vaccination.

2- High fever, headache.

3- Fatigue, nausea, vomiting.

4- Diarrhea, cough, and allergies.

5- Muscle pain.

6- Joint pain and lethargy.

7- Seizures

The Ministry of Health said that these symptoms generally do not require specific treatment. Usually, these symptoms disappear on their own and without obtaining a prescription or medication.

Last December, Minister of Health Hala Zayed received the first shipment of a Chinese coronavirus vaccine produced by the Chinese company (Sinopharma), at Cairo International Airport, coming from the United Arab Emirates.

The minister said that Egypt is witnessing a historic day, thanking President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his keenness to provide the Coronavirus vaccine to the Egyptian people, stressing that Egypt is the first African country to get a COVID-19 vaccine.

Zayed pointed out to the depth of the relations with the Emirati people, in addition to the friendly relations with the Chinese people, as Egypt was able to obtain the first shipment of the Chinese vaccine from the Chinese company (Sinopharm) with the support of the Emirati G42 healthcare company.

The Minister confirmed, during a press conference held at Cairo International Airport, that the COVID-19 crisis showed the solidarity of the peoples. She thanked the United Arab Emirates and the Chinese government for their support for the Egyptian people in obtaining these vaccines, noting that clinical trials were conducted on this vaccine in Egypt. She also expressed pride in participating in the clinical trial of the Chinese vaccine.
