On Tuesday, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck southern Taiwan.
It was reported that 27 people were injured with minor injuries due to the magnitude, in addition, it caused some material damage.
Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau stated that the earthquake's epicenter was located 38 kilometers southeast of Chiayi County at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The US Geological Survey had earlier reported the earthquake's magnitude as 6.
Taiwan's Fire Department reported that 27 individuals were taken to hospitals for treatment of minor injuries.
