Cairo International Days of Monodrama Festival officially opened its doors for receiving entries for its fifth edition, the festival announced on Saturday.
Artists can send their submissions virtually from today and until May 22. The festival's board has posted a link for participants to register and submit their works.
Moreover, the Cairo International Days of Monodrama board set several requirements for the registered works such as the work should be produced between 2020 and 22, and to be a 30-minute show.
The statement also added that innovation and creativity should be the main essence of the submitted works, and to be hatred, discrimination-free.
It is worthy to mention that Tunisia was selected as the 4th edition’s guest of honor.
Tunisia participated in the main competition of the festival by one troupe called Doroub, alongside several contributions in the festival’s several activities such as the Al Hakawati (The Storyteller) platform.
The 4th edition of the festival took place between September 13, and 17, and it was directed by iconic director Osama Raouf.
