A Somali citizen wounded at least five persons in a knife attack in Rimini city in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, Sputnik reported on Sunday.
The incident took place at 5 (GMY) pm on Saturday, the attacker was traveling on a bus from Riccione to Rimini without having tickets. So, he started stabbing two women who were responsible for the tickets on the bus, after that he injured three passengers including a baby.

Italian authorities claimed that the suspect attempted to steal the bus, but his attempt was unsuccessful that's why he fled the bus before police arrested him.
The 26-Somali man has no links with terrorism or extremist groups, in addition, authorities indicated that the attacker wasn't under the influence of any drug, according to Corriere di Bologna.
Moreover, he arrived recently in Europe, and he applied to be considered a refugee a few months ago.
