461 Killed in Syrian Army and Armed Factions Clashes

The death toll from ongoing clashes in Syria has surged to 461, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The conflict, marked by escalating violence between the Syrian Army and armed factions, continues to take a devastating toll on both combatants and civilians.

The Observatory confirmed that 23 Syrian Army soldiers were killed in Aleppo following a major assault by armed factions that breached the city. Civilian casualties remain alarmingly high, with 61 deaths reported in the fierce fighting.

Adding to the tragedy, the Syrian Civil Defense, known as the White Helmets, reported that 12 civilians were killed and 23 others injured in an airstrike that struck the courtyard of the University Hospital in central Aleppo. The attack underscores the grave dangers faced by civilians amid intensifying hostilities in urban areas.
