Four Palestinians were killed, and several others injured on Sunday as Israeli airstrikes targeted multiple areas in Gaza, including Al-Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City, Al-Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip, and northern Rafah in southern Gaza.
According to the Palestinian News Agency WAFA, an Israeli drone strike on Al-Sabra neighborhood resulted in the death of one Palestinian. Additionally, Israeli forces shelled the Al-Sawarka area in Al-Nuseirat, killing one person and injuring four others.
In another attack, a Palestinian was injured when Israeli forces bombed a home in the town of Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. This coincided with artillery shelling and gunfire in the vicinity of Khuza’a town. Meanwhile, two more Palestinians lost their lives in northern Rafah following an Israeli airstrike.
WAFA also reported that Israeli artillery fired shells and heavy machine gun rounds near the Al-Da’wa area, north of Al-Nuseirat, and that Israeli military vehicles opened fire on residents in northern Rafah, further escalating tensions in the region.
