UAH Holds Conference in Cairo to Discuss Palestine Through Ages

The Union of Arab Historians (UAH) in Cairo held its thirty-first annual conference, under the chairmanship of Dr. Ahmed El-Sherbiny, President of the Union and President of the Conference, and Dr. Ismail Al-Bishri, Vice President of the Federation and Rapporteur of the Conference.

This year's conference is entitled: "Palestine Through the Ages" in response to the masses of Arab historians in their previous conference in 2023.

The conference discussions include 5 axes: Palestine, resources, and population through the ages, archaeological and historical monuments of Palestine through the ages, external targeting of Palestine through the ages and its resistance, the Zionist movement and Palestine, and the position of the Arab and Islamic world on Zionist activity in Palestine.

The conference was attended by 31 participants from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Palestine, Algeria and Syria.

During the conference, several Arab historians who contributed to enriching historical knowledge in Egypt and the Arab world were honored. The Dr. Abdullah Al-Naeem Awards will also be distributed to four researchers in history and civilization studies in the Arab World.
