On Friday, two persons were wounded in a shooting that took place in Marseille according to media agencies.
In the same context, RT reported cited a firefighter that one of the injured is in a serious condition without posting any further details about the accident.
It is worthy to mention that a 14-year old teen was shot dead, and two others were slightly injured in the same city. The wounded are aged 14 and 18.
Marseille's Prosecutor said: "it was a motorbike with two people armed with at least one assault rifle — Kalashnikov type — who fired (...) in the street."Shortly, the file of the investigation was handed to the police.
After that, French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin commented: ""The judicial investigations are underway, but it seems fairly obvious that the war of territories to recover lucrative (drug) dealing points is probably one of the reasons for these armed attacks."
He also added: "Beyond this despicable incident, over the last ten years, deaths by settling accounts have been halved in Marseille and I encourage the national police to continue their work to impose the republican rule over drug traffickers."
