Two people were killed as a result of forest fires in the US state of Texas, which also caused the destruction of hundreds of buildings and the death of thousands of livestock.
Fires were raging in the state of Texas, but the largest fire broke out in Smokehouse Creek in the Texas Panhandle, which destroyed one million hectares of land in the state, and more than 30,000 hectares in nearby Oklahoma, CNN reported on Sunday.
CNN indicated that under dry weather conditions and strong winds, things may get worse.
