2 Iranian Soldiers Killed in Israel's Strikes, Says Army

On Saturday, the Iranian army said that two soldiers were killed in the Israeli strikes on military targets in Iran.

In an official statement, the Iranian army confirmed the death of the two soldiers without clarifying where the deaths happened.

“The army of the Islamic Republic of Iran in defending the security of Iranian territory and preventing harm against the people and interests of Iran has sacrificed two personnel while confronting the projectiles of the criminal Zionist entity,” the statement said.

The Israeli military also sent a message to Iran, warning it of the consequences of further escalations.

The Israeli military said it attacked several sites that were used for missile production, in addition to military sites.

After the conclusion of the attack, “The Israel Defense Forces completed precise and targeted strikes against military targets in a number of areas in Iran. Our planes have safely returned home,” the statement said.

On the other hand, Iran’s official news agency (IRNA) said some military sites were struck in three provinces: Tehran, Ilam and Khuzestan, highlighting that Iranian air defenses were successful and damage was “limited.”

“Dimensions of this incident are under investigation,” IRNA said.

In the same context, US senior official believed: “This should be the end of this direct exchange of fire between Israel and Iran." These statements came after the conclusion of Israel's attacks on Iran.
