On Saturday, the first edition of Arish cultural Ramadan nights kicked off with the presence of North Sinai Governor Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shosha.
The first activities celebrated the anniversary of 10th of Ramadan war victory.
During his speesh, Shosha cogratulated the armed forces, and recalled the heroic principles by the Egyptian army to restore Sinai.
The event witnessed various activties including workshops for making Ramadan lanterns, handcrafts, games, interactive activities, activities for people of determination, and storytelling sessions.
Yesterday, a performance by Arish ensemble for folk arts was presented at the theater, followed by another folk arts show by Beni Suef troupe.
In addition, there was a group exhibition for North Sinai artists' artworks, and a book fair by the General Authority for Cultural Palaces.
Its expected that the activities will last until the 22nd of Ramadan
