A university in Colombia reported that at least 10 people were killed when a bus carrying students and teachers crashed into a bridge barrier in the west of the country.
Police Chief Luis Fernando Atuesta said, according to the French newspaper Le Figaro, that the accident occurred on a bridge in Quindío province, adding that 26 passengers were on board the bus. Atuesta explained that, according to preliminary investigations, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into the bridge's barrier.
