10 Egypt's Squash Players to Participate in Germany Open 2024

On Wednesday, the Germany Open 2024 tournament will kick off in Hamburg.

Taking place between April 3, and 7, 10 Egyptian players will participate in the tournament in both divisions: men, and women. 

3 Egyptian players will participate in the men's division. They are Mohamed El Sherbiny, Yassin El Shafie, and Mazen Gamal.

In addition, 7 Egyptian players will take part in the women's tournament, and they are Fayrouz Abo El Kheir, Salma Hany, Malak Khafagy, Rana Ismail, Haya Ali, Nour Heikal, Nardine Gars.

On Monday, PSA announced the international ranking for April 2024.

Ali Farag headed the ranking for the 44th successive week, and the 202nd in his history.

Mostafa Asal came fourth, and Karim Abdel Gawad jumped to No.5 seed.

Mazen Hesham came sixth, and Tarek Mo'men came eighth.

For women's, five Egyptian Squash stars are included in the list.

Nour El Sherbiny headed the international ranking of the first week in April 2024 and for 31 successive weeks, and 241 weeks in her history.

Hania El Hammamy came second, and Nouran Gohar came third.

Nour El Tayeb's position improved to No. 5, and Rawan Al Arabi appeared in the top 10.
