One person was killed and 39 others were injured, as a bus overturned in the Lower Dir region of northwestern Pakistan.
The Pakistani newspaper Dawn reported on Tuesday that the bus overturned on Khazana Road last night and fell into a ditch near the Munda police station when the driver lost control of it on the way from Karachi to Bajaur.
It indicated that 1,122 people were rescued and transferred to the district headquarters hospital in Timergara, while five of them were transferred to hospitals (Peshawar) due to their critical condition.
