French Football Coach Patrice Beaumelle declares, on Friday, converting to Islam in an Algerian Mosque.
The MC Alger's coach declared the shahādah, and said the Muslim profession of faith at the Jenan Mabrouk Mosque, El Harrach, Algeria.
He also announced changing his first name from Patrice to Amir.
Algerian media outlets revealed that the coach had intention to convert to Islam as he fasted several days of Ramadan.
Beaumelle worked as the coach of Zambia National Football team, Ivory Coast National football team, and the assistant of French iconic coach Hervy Renard.
